RIMS authority assures appropriate action MU NEWS/IMPHAL, Jan 21 : The Regional institute of medical sciences(RIMS) authority claimed that the appropriate disciplinary action will be taken up against those doctors whenever there are evidences of criminal negligence. As regard to Private Practice Media Advisor of RIMS in a press release here said that it informed that appropriate action had been taken up in some cases and some others warned in person.RIMS authority issues the release in view of the public protest over the alleged negligence by the doctors serving the hospital. Today the representative of the coordination committee of the JACs on unnatural death in RIMS had a meeting with Director Professor S Sekharjit Singh along with some seniors doctors, the release claimed.
