However, no posts have been created since 2008,” he said.During the tenure of the previous government, hesaid, few posts were filled and ‘that too as an election gimmick’.“Our pleas,” he said, “have always fallen on deaf ears.”“The Minister for Medical Education, Taj Mohiuddin, told us, during four meetings, that wewill be provided jobs but so far nothing has beendone.“People call us cream of the society but we havebeen pushed to the wall. This certificate is simply a piece of paper, worth nothing. Torching it makes no difference.”Maintaining that they had pinned hopes on chiefminister Omar Abdullah as he was young and supposed to understand the problems of youth, the protesters said they have lost hope now.
