RIP ANGEL BULLY..NO MORE PAIN,NO MORE SUFFERING..SPREAD UR WINGS AS CROSS OVER THE RAINBOW BRIDGE..SHINE BRIGHT..LOVED BY MANY FAR AND WIDE..I LOVE YOU,MY LIL ANGEL THANK YOU PMAR FOR SHOWING BULLY WHAT LOVE WAS Pibbles & More Animal Rescue, Inc - PMAR Our Sweet Bully - Rest in Peace. Sadly, Bully, the senior that we rescued from the NY shelter yesterday did not make it. He had arrived from the shelter in a very weakened condition. He was bleeding internally, was anemic, and his joints were arthritic and inflamed making it hard for him to walk. His foster took him immediately to the emergency vet where they started treatments to help stabilize him and make him comfortable. But, he was just too tired to fight. And passed on his own this morning. We are beyond sad to think about the horrible neglect that Bully was subject to that resulted in these sad final days. Being abandoned by his owners at the shelter by his owners was ugly. And the clear neglect reflected by his medical condition is beyond inhumane. Our one tiny ray of happiness is that Bully got to experience the love and care in his final hours that had escaped him during his life. His foster reported that he was a sweet dog that responded to love in spite of his pain. And a very special thank you to the incredible staff at Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital for the care and love they showed him. And we have to thank Gina at Dicken. She sat with Bully for many hours last night until midnight, and then came back to the office at 3 AM to be with him. There are no words sufficient to express our thanks for the care and attention that Bully received. We are beyond angry. It is hard to understand that just when his life was about to finally take a turn for the better, that it was taken away. He truly deserved better. In addition, thanks goes out to the thousands of fans last night and this morning that shared Bullys story and said a prayer for him. We truly appreciate the support that you showed for him. We will be leaving Bullys YouCaring page up for anyone who would like to make a donation in his honor. Beyond his medical bills, all funds will go to provide care for other dogs in need.
