RIP Actress Kate O Mara. Everybody who grew up in the 1960s-80s will remember her. Most of us remember the BBC 1 soap, Triangle set on board a ferry. And Larry Lamb looking at her topless sunbathing on the bow of his ship whilst his ferry took out three rubber dinghys, an entire fishing fleet and 500 metres of the harbour wall. Life indeed imitated Art many years later when that floating supersonic coffee shop, the Costa Concordia unsuccessfully tried to rein-act The Poseidon Adventure because its captain was allegedly gorking at something else on the beach of Gigolo Island (14 nautical miles due south from its sister island, Fantasy) instead of looking where the pillock was going. Anyway, rest in peace, Kate O Mara. A great actress in her day.
