RIP Angie was rescued in 2009 from the shelters red list as they said she was vicious. She was just diagnosed with meningitis with substantial inflammation in her brain and spinal column. Xrays, MRI, blood work, and spinal tap revealed autoimmune meningitis. She was hospitalized at ACCESS these last 2 days while receiving steroids, antibiotics, chemo, fluids, and pain medications. She continually deteriorated despite the doctor’s efforts. The pressure on her brain was too severe. Angie we will miss you and know you are still being silly, stubborn, bratty, goofy, and sweet.
