RIP Deputy Troy Brown Franklin County Sheriff Deputy Badge Number 1136 Franklin County, Tennesee The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, with the utmost regret sorrow, announces the passing of Deputy Troy Brown. Troy was a beloved member of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and a brother of law enforcement. Troy served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1988. He then begin his 28 year career in law enforcement at the Winchester Police Department and moved from there to the Tullahoma Police Department. Troy then served as Chief of Police for the City of Estill Springs and then moved to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in July of 1999. Troy was a D.A.R.R.E instructor for many years and always expressed his love of working with young people. At the Sheriff’s Office, Troy served in the capacity of Deputy, Investigator and School Resource Officer. Troy was a dedicated law enforcement officer and beloved by his co-workers. He will be immensely by everyone.
