RIP Jewel Hazelrig Our baby girl has been fighting cancer and the time has come to put her out of her misery. We have an appointment with the vet at 2pm. She has been with us for 14 1/2 years. As a pup I wanted to ring her neck every time she turned over the potted plants. I remember how she would run to our room when I would scream and shout at the TV during Memphis basketball games. She has slept with Michelle and I for as long as I can remember. She produced a thousand degrees of heat and I would wake up sweating on many mornings. She has traveled with us to every one of our churches, but Bakers Chapel UMC will be her last home on this earth. Lord please take her now so she will quit suffering.
