RIP Lois Jeanne Strickland Pervier Our dear, sweet, wonderfully unique and amazing girl Lois is finally at rest and peace. She had a very peaceful passage around 7:00AM this morning under the fabulous care of the great staff here at Mercy Hospital and direction of VNA Hospice. They monitored her steadily through the night keeping her comfortable and adjusting anxiety and pain meds to ensure that she was comfortably. When told that there was nothing more treatment wise that could be done she had stated “I guess I’m going to have to learn how to die” and in true amazing Lois style she did just that and did it well. She was at peace with going and had told us that she was not afraid to die. For those that have known Lois well this was huge as she has thought about and been afraid of death since a young girl. I have supported Lois as best I could these 4 plus years and she has been as strong and courageous and anyone could possibly be. Your love and support has been ever sweet and the Divine Love shared here will carry us all though. Thank you all so much for all your loving thoughts and support!
