RISE UP AND BREAK SATANIC BARRIERS Therefore we wanted to come to you-even I, Paul, time and again-but Satan hindered us. (1 Thessalonians 2: 18) Here in the anchor scripture Apostle Paul declared his resolve to visit his church in Thessalonica, but he points out that his desire didnt come to pass because Satan prevented him. How the devil accomplished this is not communicated to us but one thing is clear - Paul couldnt do what he wanted to do because Satan put barriers, raised hurdles or used human agents to deny him the freedom and the liberty to visit the church. Spiritual battles are more aggressive and dangerous than physical ones. What is even more serious is that we are engaged in a conflict with the devil and his agents who cannot be detected with the physical senses. These enemies are not imaginary - they are very real. Our warfare is with a very determined, very experienced, and well-organized enemy and Gods children are the targets of this well organized enemy. Thanks to God that we have an upper hand through the name and blood of Jesus Christ our Lord. Please understand that no secular arm, no human prudence, no earthly policy, and no suits at law would be able to deter, frighten, scare or overcome the enemy. It is only Gods power that is sufficient enough to overcome the enemy and preserve the believer. We can only overcome our enemy when we take our place in the spirit as watchmen upon the walls of Zion and pray because the more we pray the more power we get from God. The more power we have the greater the advantage we get over the activities of the devil and his agents. The devil is powerless when we pray and deploy the blood of Jesus against him. How often do you pray? How much time has you invested into your prayer life? Remember that the devil only bows out when we resist him through prayer. Are you willing to pray to overcome the agenda of the devil against your progress and the deliverance of your family from the control of the powers of darkness? Are you willing to neutralize every activity of Satan against your business, church and community? Then you have to intensify your prayers and break all forms of satanic barriers. PRAYER: I declare that the activities of the powers of darkness in order to hinder my advancement and progress are interrupted in Jesus name. I declare that every scheme of the enemy to deny me of my next level is aborted in Jesus name. I command every situation the enemy will raise to ensnare me to be cancelled and I command a way of escape out of every trap in Jesus name
