RISE UP MIGHTY NATION...These police shootings in the Age of Obama make it super clear that we are living a Spike Lee joint. With that being the truth, what do we do in Oklahoma now? We work to prevent the possibility of this happening in the future! How do we work? We start at Urban Roots this Saturday at 4pm. People I respect locally are moving forward for justice. I hope to be there...but mom is still recovering from surgery and I may not be able. I have an idea that I want to do, but need you to show your support this Saturday to see if we can actually accomplish something without some celebrity coming in town to rally us. If Oklahoma is strong...it will be evident in your support...if Oklahoma is weak...I wont waste my time. Ive poured my soul out for justice and shared information to achieve justice. Ive spoken about the best strategy to use. Ive been asked to be a leader in the fight...but, leaders cant lead without followers....and Grace Franklin, Candace Liger, Marc Flemon, J. Wiggins, Dwayne Got Stocks, Mark Faulk, Brittney Shantel Guest and several others on the grass roots level (please dont crucify me if I havent mentioned you) have sought to strengthen this State culturally and consciously in my absence from the social and social media scene temporarily. I wish i had more time because yall would hear The Conquering Lion roar with ferociousness online and in your face to continuously motivate the movement. But, God has me sitting still right now to take serious action at home for my family first and all families later. Also, if you are a Langstonite or a product of a HBCU, I fully expect you to be involved to the fullest extent possible. It is time for real smart revolution!
