RISK EDUCATION PROJECT OFFICER International Handicap 1. Organise and coordinate the daily activities of the RE teams • Ensure all tasks assigned to staff are achieved within the planned timeframe, keeping in mind planned deadlines and expected results. • Continuously monitor any changes in the current crisis. • With the team, develop a beneficiary identification, support and follow-up mechanism. • Meet with other local and international actors in the area of intervention to discuss potential referral mechanisms or partnerships. • Create the weekly planning of the team and manage their daily activities and movements in the field. 2. Supervise team activities • Ensure teams are carrying out their activities to a high standard. • Identify any training needs of the field teams and relay these needs to the relevant Technical Advisors and, where relevant, support the Technical Advisors to implement appropriate trainings. • Where possible, perform necessary trainings to improve the quality of work carried out by the teams. 3. Monitoring and Reporting • Ensure all field teams are making appropriate records of their activities and link this information with the data/monitoring in a timely manner • Support the field teams to correctly complete all the required reporting (statistics, field activity reports, etc.) Skills Education • University degree in social work or a related field Experience • Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience • Previous experience with international or local NGOs desirable Skills • Excellent Arabic and Kurdish mandatory (oral and written). English is an advantage. • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information. • Excellent organisational skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Team management. • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills. • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and humanitarian values.
