RMS Announcements Wednesday, June 5, 2013 Day – 2 Lunch Today Choice 1 – Quesadilla Day Choice 2 – n/a Peas, Raw Veggies with Ranch, Mixed Fruit and Veggie Bar, Milk 1. This year will mark the 3rd annual I Got Caught Program. The Iowa Falls Police Department, community members and school officials will be ticketing students of all ages through the end of the school year in both Iowa Falls and Alden. Students “caught” wearing a helmet while biking will be handed a I Got Caught ticket. The ticket is good for a free ice cream cone at the Princess Café. Rock Run or Riverbend students can turn the bottom portion of the ticket at school to enter the grand prize raffle drawing. Grand Prizes include a bicycle to each school from the Spoken Wheel Cyclery, Season pool passes to the Meyer Municipal Aquatic Center, Dale Howard Family Activity Center passes, Swimming Parties at the Iowa Falls AmericInn. 2. The End of the Year Awards Ceremony and Variety Show will be held on the last day of school. Student that are interested in participating in the show or helping with the Master of Ceremonies functions, please stop by the office for an application. 3. The yearbook committee will be selling yearbooks for $5.00. The Yearbook Committee will be selling yearbooks before school each day. 4. Students please make sure your lunch fees and exploratory fees are paid this week. 5. Please return ALL RMS library books to the library. If you have any questions about books checked out in your name, see Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Wiese. Students will be charged the replacement cost for any books not returned. 6. Roman soldiers….final standings from this spring battle will be announced during the awards ceremony tomorrow. The winning Triumvirate will have a picture framed and proudly displayed in the front display case for future soldiers to see. 7. All students (only one from class skits) please report to the cafeteria following the announcements today.
