***ROAD TO BRAZIL 2014 WORLD CUP*** SCHEDULE FOR THE OFFICIALS & PLAYERS OF THE SUPER EAGLES FOR THE WORLD CUP!!!! As the Super Eagles are getting set to clash with the USA tomorrow Saturday 7th June in their last friendly game as they intensify preparations for the World Cup, i think it is paramount at this point that we get ourselves intimated with the schedule of the entire team before the start of tournament. After playing Juergen Klinsmanns Team USA in Jacksonville on Saturday 7th June, on Tuesday 10th June, the officials and players of the Super Eagles will fly from Miami International Airport aboard an American Airline flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 9 hours flight and arrive at the Guarulhos International Airport, Sao Paulo at 8.40pm local time, which is 12:40am Nig time. They will be met on arrival by FIFAs transport and accommodation officials, officials of the Local Organising Committee and the NFFs advance delegation. Those NFF people don dey there dey flenjor, as e dey be nah...lol :D :D The delegation will then be driven to the Team Base Camp, Vitoria Hotel Concept in Campinas. Dem say na 60 minutes drive from the Guarulhos Airport.... The hotel was inspected and approved by Coach Stephen Keshi himself a day after the World Cup Draw in Salvador on 6th December 2013.... Na him check am by himself oooo, nobody help am o, so no complain :D :D Then the team will train at the Brinco do Ouro Stadium, which playing pitch recently underwent extensive upgrade at the prompting of the NFF, and the Mayor of Campinas, Jonas Donizette, has at various times assured of adequate security for Team Nigeria. Portugal is the only other team staying in Campinas... So dem and Cristiano Ronaldo fit dey wave hands to themselves if dem by mistake jam.... :D :D Abi nah? World football-governing body FIFA will take over the team from arrival in Sao Paulo, and make arrangements for chartered flights from Campinas to match venues in Curitiba, Cuiaba and Porto Alegre where they will be playing their 1st, 2nd and 3rd game. FIFA will also arrange Venue-Specific Training Sites in those venues. However, the NFF already know that the Super Eagles will stay at Radisson Hotel Curitiba when they go to play Iran on 16th June, stay at the Hotel Hits Pantanal when they go to Cuiaba to play Bosnia-Herzegovina on 21st June and stay at Holiday Inn Porto Alegre when they visit that city to play Argentina on 25th June - exactly 20 years to the day both teams clashed at the 1994 World Cup in USA..... GBAAAM!! So, for those of you travelling to Brazil to support the Super Eagles in flying Naija flag, there you have it.... Make una no forget to buy something come ooo :D :D As usual, COUNT-DOWN: Its 6 days to the start of the World Cup... Woooow!! E don come finish o ;) As for me, my official World Cup song is #Wave Your Flag.... Naija version by Banky W and M. I... Nice Super Eagles song. Infact, i have made it my ring tone and na so e go remain throughout the World Cup period. I will want you to also download and listen to it..... ;) ;) #FLY-EAGLES-FLY - We are solidly behind you. Have a Wonderful Day!!
