ROAD TRIP! We all look forward to a road trip and a chance to - TopicsExpress

ROAD TRIP! We all look forward to a road trip and a chance to simply get away from it all sometimes - like a summer vacation! In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus says; [19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Since going and making indicates ACTION on our part, we can draw a comparison to our Spiritual walk as a Spiritual Road trip. Acts 13 leads us through a perfect example of what this looks like in real life, as we read about the Apostle Pauls first mission trip. As you read this chapter from Gods Word, keep these three basic principles in mind; - Never leave home without the prompting and power of Gods Holy Spirit! - Never let anything or any person stand in the way of your destination. (Pauls encounter with Elymas) - Be certain your destination is Jesus! Our mission field could be anywhere in the world - wherever God has placed us! Regardless of the hardships and opposition were certain to face - at home, work, school, Church, wherever - our purpose and responsibility is to share the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with a lost and dying world. Can you think of ways to compare your life journey to a Spiritual Road trip? Destination JESUS! Come ride along with us at Trail to the Cowboy Church in Hillsboro, Texas. We meet on Sundays at 10 am and Wednesday evenings for a great meal & Bible Study starting at 6:15 pm. Pastor Kenny Kennedy Road Trip Cowboy Style
