ROB BELL: ONE OF THE BAD FRUITS OF THE EMERGENT MOVEMENT I have to disagree with this piece. Bell has written or made too many statements contrary to sound doctrine and has steadily moved toward a mystical Panentheism. Evidence of Bells drift (which is awfully close to apostacy with further evidence), is his statement about Oprah Winfrey: “She has taught me more about what Jesus has for all of us, and what kind of life Jesus wants us to live, more than almost anybody in my life.” Source, religionnews/2014/12/02/what-ever-happened-rob-bell-pastor-questioned-gates-hell/ (thanks to Christine Pack of Sola Sisters for this quote & source) I also know that Oprah would never allow anyone to have a program on her network that would be a platform for the exclusive Gospel.
