ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE Ritaunice Odhiambo & Sarah ogada A 46- year- old man was yesterday seriously injured after he was shot on the leg and robbed of shs. 2,500 and two nokia mobile phones valued at shs. 5,000. It is alleged that Joshua Ouma Masese who lives in Nyandiwa trading center, suba district in Homa Bay County had just called his wife to inform her of his arrival when two people emerged from the dark and ordered him to surrender everything. The robbers who were armed with a rifle started battering Masese and eventually shot him when he resisted. Confirming the incident, Homa Bay county police commander Gabriel .M. Musau said the case is pending as no one has been arrested though the search for the culprits is still on. He identified the rifle as AK47 after finding one used cartridge at the scene of the crime.
