Triumfo, 74, of East Haven beloved husband of Margaret Ryan Triumfo passed away peacefully on June 7,2014 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on April 14,1940 to Frank and Josephine Nargi Triumfo. He graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. He spent his time as a Self Employed Carpenter/Contractor, a job that he loved and where his craftsmanship and attention to detail were his trademark. His hobby was spending time with his grandchildren and working and spending time at their Cottage in MA. Bob is predeceased by his sister MaryAnn Ambrogio (Pat) of New Haven, and brother Frank Triumfo (Jackie) of Guilford. He leaves behind his loving children, Michael Luzzi (Irene) of New Haven, Katherine Finkle (James) of South Carolina, Salvatore Triumfo (Beth) of Wallingford and Karla Triumfo Celentano (Alphonse) of New Haven. His precious grandchildren, Kristina Luzzi Bosland (Tim) of Worcester, MA., Amanda Finkle Plyler (Matt) of South Carolina, Jamie Finkle of Virginia, Ryan and Alex Celentano of New Haven, Elijah Triumfo of Wallingford. One very special Great Grandchild, Mason Plyler of South Carolina. He also leaves behind several very special nieces and their spouses and children. His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Thursday morning at 9:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Clare’s Church at 10:00. Interment will be private. Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital at YNHH, Closer to Free, P O Box 7611, New Haven, CT 06519.
