ROCHESTER LILAC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES PARKING CHANGES FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 14 May 14, 2014—Overnight rainstorms have made some of the parking areas at the Rochester Lilac Festival too wet to accommodate vehicles. The following changes are in place for Wednesday, May 14 from 5 to 9 p.m. The festival has arranged free parking at Monroe Community College and will provide shuttle buses to the festival site at Highland Park tonight, beginning at 5 p.m. . The last shuttle leaves the park at 9 p.m. Festivalgoers are strongly encouraged to use this service, as parking on residential streets in the Highland Park area is very limited. A round trip ride on the shuttle is $1 per person. Parking at MCC is free. The shuttle bus stop at MCC is clearly marked; follow the festival signs to the parking area. The buses bring riders to the festival entrance at 1440 South Avenue, which is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial entrance.
