ROCKY GAP BASS TOURNAMENT TOURNAMENT DATES: 2015 June 20- Night, July 4-Day, July 18-Night, August 1-Day, August 22-Night, September 5-Day Tournament times: Days 5:30 AM - 12 Nights 4:30 PM- 11 PM Registration: Will begin 1 hour prior to start time. Entry fee per boat: $30.00 Lunker fee per boat: $10.00 One time registration fee: $20.00 Questions: Sean Twigg @ 301-338-1389 1. These rules apply to all entrants of Rocky Gap Bass Tournaments. Rules must be obeyed at all times. Violations of these rules could result in disqualification, forfeiture of prize, no weight, points, or probation. 2. Tournaments are open to all fisherman. 3.All contestants are expected to practice courtesy, safety, and follow local and state game laws. Anyone displaying poor sportsmanship will be disqualified. 4. All boats will have functional onboard live well or cooler with aerator. There will be a pre-tournament inspection of live wells. 5. Only artificial baits may be used. Only one rod and reel may be used at any one time. Trolling is not permitted. No fishing within 50 feet of another boat. All fishing must be done from the boat. 6. Each team may weigh in 5 fish with a minimum of 12 “ in length. Fish will be measured on a flat board with mouth closed and tail compressed. A dead fish penalty of 8 oz. will be deducted for each dead fish weighed in. Anyone bringing in more than 5 fish to the scales will be disqualified. Any team weighing in a fish shorter than 12” will be disqualified. 7. Teams will keep no more than 5 fish in the live well at any time. 8. Check in time will be at times specified. Any team returning to the check in point after this time will be assessed a penalty at the rate of ½ lb. per minute up to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the team will be disqualified. 9. Ties will be broken in favor of the team with the heaviest single fish.
