ROH 23rd July. 1972: Pte Robert McComb 10 UDR. Off duty, he was abducted and murdered by terrorists. His body was found in Kerrera Street, Ardoyne, Belfast. 1974: Cpl John Conley 5 UDR. Killed by a terrorist car bomb as he was trying to clear the area of civilians in Bridge Street, Garvagh, Co Londonderry. 1982: SQM/Cpl Roy Bright RHG/D. DOW received during terrorist bomb attack on the changing of the guard at Hyde Park, London. 1987: Pte William Megrath 11 UDR. Off duty, he was murdered by terrorists on Stewartstown Road, Twinbrook, Belfast as he was driving home from work.
