ROMANTIC NEWS news from TVB Hong Kong that Hong Kong actor Wong Cho Lam (162cm) proposed on bended knee to his girlfriend of five years, actress & beauty queen Leanne Li (175cm), presenting her with a three-carat diamond ring and a bouquet of roses during Hong Kong broadcaster TVB’s anniversary show on Wednesday (Nov 19), reported Hong Kong media. Wong got down on bended knee midway through the show and proposed to Li, whom he had been dating for five years, presenting her with a three-carat diamond ring and a bouquet of roses. “In life, it is not easy to find someone who makes you feel that every day is a gift. There are a lot of friends here who have witnessed our love, so I want to ask you in front of everyone: ‘Leanne Li, will you marry me?’” said Wong. Li was moved to tears by his words and accepted his proposal. She later told reporters that she was “shocked” and “really surprised” by Wong’s proposal. Wong revealed that he had been planning the proposal “for some time” and denied that he proposed because Li is already pregnant.
