JOB-792720 Description We are currently seeking Care Assistants who have previous experience. Have Fetac Level 5 in care of the elderly. Working weekends 2hrs am & 1hr pm Saturdays & Sundays. some weekday coverage when needed. *(Client lives between Roscrea & Shinrone). The Care Assistant must have experience in the following: FETAC level 5.Care of the elderly. Personal care. Up to date patient and manual handling. Experience working in a Nursing Home or Homecare environment. Excellent English both oral and written. Full driving Licence and own transport essential. Garda Vetting. Duties to include: Assist the client in assisting with activities of daily living. Provide light housekeeping tasks including laundering of clients garments and linens and changing the bed. Help and assist in the clients personal care activities including, but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene. Provide for a clean, safe, and healthy environment for client. Skills Requirements Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
