ROSTO Fry a piece of beef and another of pork in olive oil on all sides, remove. Add 1 large onion, 3 cloves garlic,4 sliced sliced carrots, 1 small turnip, 1 potato, (mushrooms optional) and sautee for a few minutes. Add a large tin sieved tomatoes, 1 jar Tomate Casero, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 beef cube and 1 pork cube, glass of white wine and another of Brandy, salt & pepper and bring to the boil. Add the beef and pork to the casserole and simmer gently until cooked. You can liquidise the mixture if you dont like finding the bits of veggies, I liquidise it leaving the carrots and potatoes whole as my family like it this way but equally as tasty without liquidising it. Boil pasta in boiling water and add the tomato sauce to the pasta with slices of the pork and beef and potatoes on top of it. Sprinkle grated cheese if desired.
