ROTARACT CLUB SECRETARY The Secretarys primary responsibility is to help the club function efficiently. The secretary should be well organized and have good communication skills. Responsibilities Include: 1.Maintaining all club records, including membership, committee appointments, attendance, dues payments and important club documents such as the clubs certificate of organization, budget and reports 2.Notifying the Sponsor Rotary club of club members who are turning 30, to help it identify potential Rotarians 3.Providing club and member information to the president for regular updates to RI 4.Taking minutes, a clear concise written record of meeting discussion and actions - at all club meetings. Minutes should cover these points 1.Date, time and place 2.Presiding Officer 3.Attendace 4.Approval and correction of last meetings minutes 5.Treasurer Statement 6.Summary of reports from officers and committees 7.Summary of agenda (including old and new business) and actions taken 8.Announcements 9.Adjournment.
