ROTTEN TENANTS! After not paying their rent for March, which includes electricity & heating, having 1 or 2 extra people sleeping/showering there for 3 weeks, doing 2, 3, 4 and even 5 loads of laundry a day my 2 tenants from Hell moved out today but left a total disaster in the apartment which we can see from the windows! We had to call the police because he, his brother and a friend threatened the neighbors son who was in their driveway smoking across the street...he said they would beat his face in before leaving...the kid went inside scared! When the mother approached the guys he told her to get lost right in her face said, tas un problèm...va ten chez vous and they all laughed! She called the police but was told that its not that bad but maybe she shouldnt do anything for fear of them coming back for revenge or something so we called and complained about the incident and also about the tenants banging doors and things downstairs after the neighbor had called them. When they finally got here they said nothing can be done because it was outside it could have been directed at anybody...bull, there was no one else there! The gang had another good laugh at us all and right in front of the police too! We asked about our complaint about them banging doors & whatever after the call...well, guess what, nothing can be done! The two young female cops said they cannot go into the apartment to check or anything and, to add insult to injury, we cant go in until the tenants give us a paper saying they have moved and terminated their lease or until the Regie de Logement says its okay to enter!!! I cant wipe up the water left on the laminate floor or turn down the high heat (which they have often done but with the windows open) and I cant clean their mess and repair the walls and doors in order to rent the freaking place!!! The criminals have more in the justice system than the victims and I told the cop that too! Poor young couple, now Im a MAD IRISH WOMAN and I will not give up until the end after what they have done, its the Regie du Logement, bailiffs and all, they picked the wrong person to screw! Its quite stupid though, I have all the legal rights lease etc...I lent her a beauty china cabinet/wine rack, gave her a sofa, gave them breaks about the noise, let it slide every month when they were late with the rent and I even helped her get the job where she works cause Ive known the place for so long and am friends with the manager (dont think hell like what they have done though)! They will have to pay more in the end and they will ruin their reputations for the future but, whats really sad, is that I dont think I will ever give another young couple a chance again, the good pay for the bad often in this life! :(
