RR Garcia says GlobalPort’s inconsistent rotation contributed to poor game in PBA debut Former UAAP Most Valuable Player RR Garcia was a picture of frustration in his PBA debut for the GlobalPort Batang Pier. He scored just four points in 18 minutes of play in his first game, a blowout loss to the Petron Blaze Boosters. The ex-Far Eastern University star said he couldn’t get any rhythm during the game because he was yanked in and out of the lineup by rookie GlobalPort coach Richie Ticzon. “Wala, hindi ako naka-contribute. Medyo pabalik-balik rin ako sa loob. Mahirap yung ganun eh. Kapag tumira ka, hindi ka naka-shoot, ilalabas ka kaagad,” Garcia told InterAKTV. He split quarterbacking duties with fellow FEU alum Terrence Romeo, leaving them only a few minutes together on the floor. “Sa akin, maski sinong kasabay ko, OK lang naman,” said Garcia. “Nagsabay kami ni Terrence pero saglit rin lang.” He also admitted that the physical play in the PBA bothered him a bit. “Excited ako, tapos first five pa ako. Pero nahirapan rin ako mag-adjust. Dapat pala malakas ka, kasi binabangga lagi katawan mo. Hindi puwede lalambot-lambot. Next game, prepared na ako niyan,” he said. “Natural lang na mag-struggle, first game ko. Ngayon wala akong masyadong naipakita, next game siguro.” - Susie interaksyon/interaktv/rr-garcia-says-globalports-inconsistent-rotation-contributed-to-poor-game-in-pba-debut?fb_action_ids=590606444346679&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=%5B376204645843756%5D&action_type_map=%5B%22og.likes%22%5D&action_ref_map=%5B%5D
