RRAN ACTION on Friday 16th in Support of Justice and Freedom for Martin, the men on Manus and all people who are detained indefinitely, without charge or trial, by the Australian government. These men have no control over their lives and their future, it therefore is not surprising that they have resorted to exercising the only control that they have left; that being over their bodies. It is incredibly distressing and disturbing that these men have been driven to take such action however this is a testament to the complete inhumanity of indefinite mandatory detention. We say FREEDOM not hunger strikes. We say JUSTICE not self-harm. We echo the cries of these men and stand in solidarity with their struggle. Freedom and resettlement in Australia or a safe third country is required URGENTLY.
