RRGDs SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES: Hello fellow railfans! As we approach our twenty-four thousandth Like(wow!), here is a reminder of our submissions guidelines... We welcome your contributions of photos, captions and comments direct to our timeline (post in the space above this message). But here are a few guidelines: • Photos: Railway images and related interest or significant news are especially welcome, particularly those of high quality. Please spread out multiple photos, not submitted all at once – one or two per day per person is ideal. Regular contributions are especially welcome! • Captions: Tell us about your photos. While some images may stand alone, most need some explanation – please tell us what, where, when, and why. • Comments: Please keep these relevant to the subject matter, while remaining courteous and considerate. Inflammatory comments will be removed. • International Audience: We are an international website, so assume our audience doesn’t know about your country or its railways. A brief explanation may help everyone enjoy your contribution. • Scope: Our goal is to make RRGD more than just a website for pretty pictures. We also welcome interesting stories and good research into railway and industrial archaeology. You can post longer articles on our RailroadGloryDays.net pages. • Copyright: Please do not post photos or text if you don’t own the copyright. If its not yours, please at least credit the photographer, artist or writer, or credit the original source. HOW TO POST A PHOTO AND CAPTION: a) upload it to the box above (where it says Write something on this Page); b) press Post and it will be queued in the ‘Posts to Page list on the left; c) we will share it to our Timeline as soon as possible, at our editorial discretion. Thank you for all your contributions! Glen Brewer (USA) and Phil Copleston (UK)
