RSA TO DEPOT CPS LEADERS - The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) leaders are to be deported. The South African government declined to renew political asylums of the leaders of CPS citing reason that Swaziland is politically stable, hence theres no reason for them to flee their country. Kenneth Kunene the General Secretary, Felix Mabaso International Organiser and Jeff Mnguni National Chairperson are at the Home Affires head office awaiting for transport to deport them back to Swaziland. The three came to RSA in 2005 for exile after being wanted by The King Mswati security forces for engaging in political activism to overthrow the fuadal regime. Kenneth Kunene had been a student activist and had once been a president of Swayoco the youth wing of Peoples United Democratic Movement (pudemo) which is one of the democratic forces anti - King Mswati 3 Tinkundla regime, he also led in the pudemo national executive till the formation of CPS in 2012 where he became its first general secretary. Mabaso joined the activism at 18 when he led the student movement in University of Swaziland and later Swaziland youth congress Swayoco, was detained on several occursion by the regime until he flee the country in 2005 and joined by Mnguni who was also a student and youth activist. The three form part of the central committee and politi - buro of CPS. The inaugural of CPS in 2012 was followed by the number of activism and and civil unrests, the failed Arab spring styled April 12 revolution is one amongst them. The South African government takes this drastic position after for the past 10 years or so it viewed the country as undemocratic as at some point it wanted to send a delegation of senior government officials to do some investigation into the country and further a number of times refused to give loan to Mswati of R2bn unless he do reforms in his government policies. The ANC national conference at Mangaung took resolutions on International soliderity to support the pro-democratic parties of Swaziland on their struggle against the so called autocratic regime and the pro-democratic regime includes pudemo, Swayoco and CPS.
