RSOE EDIS Event Report - An easyJet flight on route to Bristol had to be diverted after smoke was reported in the cockpit. Passengers on flight EZY6238 from Berlin instead landed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport last night due to what the airline described as a technical issue. A spokeswoman confirmed that the pilot had reported smoke in the cockpit and passengers also reported the smell of smoke in the cabin. Emergency services were on hand to meet the plane when it landed but passengers did not have to be evacuated, instead disembarking the plane normally.
