RSOE EDIS Event Report - Authorities are investigating a near-miss between two airliners on the runway at JFK Airport Saturday night. JetBlue Flight 1295 was roaring down the runway for takeoff shortly after Caribbean Airways Flight 526 landed. The JetBlue flight, bound for Austin, Texas, was forced to brake in order to avoid colliding with the other craft.
