RTBU Women is a network which was formed by the RTBU to ensure that the voices of Women in our union are heard. Description RTBU women is open to all Women in the union, and we encourage you to be actively involved, or simply join the database. RTBU women is open to women members in all divisions of the RTBU. We meet monthly for approximately one hour at the union headquarters; Level 2/365 Queen Street Melbourne. RTBU Women was set up in 2010 and we are very proud of our achievements so far. 1. We hold an annual conference on International Women Day 2. As a result of the work of the Women’s committee we have increased the confidence in women union members which has resulted in a greater number of women delegates in the Rail division 3. RTBU Women negotiated alongside the union to get a Domestic Violence Clause in a number of EBA’s including Metro, V/Line and Public Transport Victoria. This provision allows for extra paid leave and other support to be given to staff members who experience Domestic or Family violence. 4.
