RTI के बाद अब नेता लोग अपराधियों को बचने में भी सफल हो गए. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आदेश दिया था की जिन नेताओं पर अपराध साबित हो जाता है उन की संसद से सदस्यता तुरंत ख़तम होनी चाहिए. इस को भी हमारे नेताओं ने नहीं माना. अब देखना है BJP इस बारे में क्या बोलती है. The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved amendments to the Representation of the People Act to negate a recent order by the Supreme Court on immediate disqualification of convicted MPs and MLAs. The Supreme Court had ruled that MPs or MLAs shall stand disqualified from the membership of the House from the date of conviction in a trial court. The court held Section 8(4) of the Representation of the People Act as ultra vires. The section allows a convicted lawmaker to remain in office till the pendency of appeal. This ruling could see several lawmakers in both Parliament and state assemblies lose their seats.
