RULE BY INFORMATION! “…that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live...” (Deut 8:3b) “And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying,… Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.” (Gen 31:11-12) The Israelites in Deuteronomy 8 were just delivered from slavery and did not know any other kind of lifestyle apart from slavery. So they needed serious re-orientation and re-engineering to integrate to normal living. They required information to be able to live the life of the freed and to create for them a distinct world. This was not going to be a crash program which made God to take them through a long route instead of eleven days to the Promised Land. In our “Information World” many people still choose the tangibles (material things) over intangibles like information. It is only shortsightedness that makes people make such poor choices. The lust for Tangibles has led people the wrong way and before one knows it these people will be left behind by those who choose wisely. Information created the earth, sustains and still rules world. If nothing, Jacob got wealthy by the information he got from the Angel. He got uncommon wisdom and the power of uncommon imagination which led to his wealth creation. This elevated him above his master. Today, every one of us has his own skill or calling. Most of the time, I do not have to wait for one to finish some information related to my calling. As long as I have interest, I develop more notes for related and even unrelated topics or subjects from the bit of information I received. So also any person whether he is an IT Specialist, Accountant, Engineer, Medical Doctor, Business Owner, etc, the information he gets today will take him beyond his wildest imagination. Developing a high value for information for one’s calling or profession transforms lives in no small measure. Any person can be armed by books, attending seminars, certificate courses, selected TV programs, free online information such as on youtube, google, ask, Wikipedia,etc. As you seek the right information, you will get what money cannot buy, you can never be dominated! Instead, you will rule in the midst of your enemies, in the world’s marketplaces and everywhere you go. Since you are made in the image and likeness of God, you have all it takes to create and invent things that have never been created! You are the head, not the tail! You are above only!
