RUSSIA TO RECOGNIZE UKRAINE ELECTION RESULTS -------------------------------------------- Russia will recognize the results of Ukraines parliamentary election, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says. He said it is very important for Ukraine to finally have the authorities that are not fighting each other or involved in the tug-of-war between the west and the east but rather will deal with the real issues facing the country and will think how to ensure the unity of the country, how to ensure that all citizens - no matter what language they speak and what political views they have - find their place within Ukraine. He also said the leading force in the parliament will be the bloc of Petro Poroshenko, who is our partner, our presidents partner in reaching Minsk peace agreements between Kiev authorities and rebels of Luhansk and Donetsk. And these agreements were reached with assistance from Russia and the OSCE.
