PROFESSOR (RUASS 7) Applicant should possess a Ph.D degree from a reputable University with specialization in the discipline applied for. Evidence of academic leadership in forms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals in relevant field of study, project design and monitoring, administrative experience, etc., with at least 12 years post-qualification, full-time, relevant teaching and research experience. Professional qualifications, where applicable, will be an advantage. READER (RUASS 6) Same as for Professor, but with at least 10 years post-qualification, full-time, relevant teaching and research experience at University Level. SENIOR LECTURER (RUASS 5) Same as for Reader, but with at least 7 years post-qualification, full-time, relevant teaching and research experience at University Level. LECTURER I (RUASS 4) A candidate for this post must possess a good First degree and a doctorate degree from recognized Universities, with at least three (3) years post-qualification teaching or research experience in a University or comparable institution of higher learning. Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable Journals is required. LECTURER II (RUASS 3) A candidate for this post must possess a good First degree and an M.Sc. degree in the discipline applied for from recognized Universities, with at least three (3) years of post-qualification teaching or research experience in a University or comparable institution of higher learning. Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable Journals is required. ASSISTANT LECTURER (RUASS 2) SENIOR LECTURER (RUASS 5) Applicant should possess a research-based Masters degree from a recognized University in the indicated discipline with at least 12 months, full-time, post qualification experience. Evidence of having reached an advanced stage of completing Ph.D programme will be an added advantage.
