Race 5 - November 4 A good turnout considering the cold conditions and the sound of thunder and a few spots of rain. 67 riders, 16km = 60 and 8km = 7 fantastic! Sam Horgan gets his second top spot of the season and young Laurence Pithie was fastest of the 8km riders. Many thanks to everyone (helpers and riders) who braved the cold. Couple of observations. The finish line is where you started (where the clock is and not where the timing team stand) and the turn point is where the black and white cone is! Couple of riders did some extra distance (thats at least 10 seconds to be saved!) :-) Thanks for everyone who has so far volunteered. We will be seeking additional help on specific dates so please help out when you see the next email and FB message in the next day or so.
