Race Lohja is over and we are in mixed emotions. Sad that the season is over. Happy about everything we have experienced and achieved! Max won his last race in SJ15 junior class! He secured the Finnish Championship title with maximum points. He was unthreatened the whole season and will leave the SJ15 scene with tons of great memories and happy moments to look back too. In the 1st heat in GT30, Max was involved in a crash that luckily did end up with only small injuries to the other driver involved. Max was unharmed but the boat and the most important part of the equipment, the propeller were damaged. We were able to repair the boat and continue with the race and finally Max ended up with a well-earned 3rd place in this race. According to unofficial results Max finished 4th in the Championship. This was a good result considering that this was his first season in this much faster and demanding category. We are very satisfied with how we managed to run in 2 classes in one season. Even though Max sometimes came of the track from one race and switched immediately to the other boat and headed out to a new start, he managed the situation very well. This fall Max and his team will concentrate on developing his GT30 tool for upcoming battles on the circuit in the season 2015.
