In the womens 8+ Coxswain Katelin Snyder 09 USA won Heat 1 to advance directly to the medal round. In a time of 6:20.96. Minutes later Rosie DeBoef 10 CAN won HEAT 2 in the exact same time as the USA in Heat 1. Exciting final to come in the womens 8+! In the Mens 8+ Rob Munn 12 five seat and Samuel Dommer 13 rowing bow of Team USA placed second in their Repechage to earn a spot in the medal final Sunday. Grega Domanjko 16 and Jernej Markovc 17 rowing in the Slovenian quadruple sculls will race in the C/D semifinal after placing 6th in their Repechage today. More Semifinals tomorrow.
