Race Report from Wayne Garrett @waynegarrett33 Round 2 of the Ulster Championships @UlsterMotocross which took place on May Day Monday at Seaforde Moto Park. Qualifying got the day off where I finished up 3rd just over a second off pole position. Race 1 starting in 5th I worked my way through to 3rd pushing for 2nd by the finish only to run out of time to push for the position. On to race 2 and starting 3rd I spent too long behind the guy in front but when I got past into 2nd I then went after the leader closing in for the win on the last few laps only to run out of time again. The final race of the day saw a pile up in turn 2 were I lost a little time coming out of the first lap in 6th, I worked my way through to 3rd only to be too far behind the leaders to catch up ending 3rd and joint 2nd overall and now up to 3rd in the Championship. My thoughts on the day: Im reasonably happy with my day, I know I have the speed to challenge now for race wins after getting the bike to how I like it each week Im getting better and having fun the first championship win of the season is hopefully coming!
