Race was going real well, 3rd out of the 4.8m swim, 3rd after the 232m bike, started the run feeling good but declined rapidly. Ended up asleep in a foil blanket behind a rock 2/3 the way up snowdon at 4am shivering and muttering gibberish. Luckily my superb crew man Leighton dragged me down to the med tent and we were told to head down and meet a med to,go back to base, they wouldnt allow us to carry on. Race over. Massive shame as was going real well but health is more important. Huge thanks to my support crew of Hayley Turner, Louise Barker, Lee Dickinson and most importantly Leights Barker for keeping me going throughout, also to Faith, Toby and Miles for being patient, absolutely awesome job done! Now feeling rough and sore and have unfinished business on my mind for 2015.....
