Rachel nka Ginger came to us from Alabama! Her family has stayed in touch through thick and thin! Here is the latest update on this pretty girl! Hey Beth: This spring, Ginger tore her left knee joint up so badly it had to be replaced. She has a metal joint in her leg now and it is working fine. During her recovery time she partially tore the other leg and the vets said another operation. A vet my wife sings with suggested we try a place called Pet PT. We went there and no operation, just exercise and PT at his place and things to do at home. Oh it was about one quarter the cost too. She is good on both legs now, but can’t jump into the back of the SUV as she did before. So I lift her and we do fine. She runs, climbs stairs, and generally gets along fine. The doc says after about a year she will be as good as new and she will be in his book when he writes it for sure. Also enclosed a photo of her on her favorite chair. Hope everything is well with you and your efforts. Ginger is the sweetest dog I have lived with and she is still trying to be a lap dog. Elmer Rotties Rule
