Racing at Speedway City Virginia tonight. Shannon was again very fast in practice. In heat 1 from position 6 he moved to the outside and quickly into 4th place in the new red and white Signarama Superman livery. Shannon had held off Aust 1 Chad Ely in his heat, however, he was covered in fluid on his return to the pits. On examination of the engine the team did not continue further in the meeting.
