Racism in America exists, We dont live in post racial America. That being said, to confuse intellectual criticism of ideas or behaviors belonging to a certain culture, political and/or religious beliefs hold by a certain group of people as racist or bigot is dangerous and it trivializes the real cases of racism and bigotry. Just like criticizing Republicans or Democrats for their beliefs doesnt make someone a racist, it shouldnt make criticizing Hindus, Muslims, Jews and Christians for the beliefs they hold dearly racist. Stop using this word all the freaking time.
