Racism is a white people problem. I dont know that much about whats really going on in Ferguson, Mo. with the exception of my boy Patrick Rico Williams keeping me informed...yet I will say this: If you want eliminate racism, you need more guys who think like this guy. Yes, his words of choice is not the greatest (I can relate to that). But what he said resounded within me... Racism is a white people problem. Some black people may disagree because racism does indeed affect us (Blacks in America) directly. However even if we felt that everything is good and that racism is a closing gap (there are time when I felt like we were getting there), you cant think for another person. My Caucasian colleagues and associates, please take this not a suggestion but as a standard; you need to stand up & address these situations...some of you have, and I personally will thank you for that. However, havent seen too much on your side here on social media. I know there little stuff that people do to help spread unity among us all. I get that. But whats happening in Ferguson, MO is racist and wrong. Yes, he shouldnt had stole some cigars. That should not give the police the right to gun him down. And yes Im calling you out. Just like how I expect men to treat women with dignity and respect, the expectation I have for white people in America is the same - there should not be such things as white supremacy or white privilege.
