Racism is the dumbest thing ever in this situation because to be racist or to hate muslims is to do exactly what terrorists want you to do. They want to create a social divide fuelled by xenophobia so they can stand on one side, and have us push the remaining peaceful muslims ourselves to their side. To strip islamic extremism of their influence on other muslims and the continuity of terrorism is to strip them of their sides!! Perpetuating Australians vs Islam and Goodies vs Baddies is perpetuating sides in which muslims feel segregated. What better way to convert people into an army than fear! And its us thats the army! We are the ones fighting their battle by creating a social divide with xenophobia. A social divide in which segregation creates isolation. Isolation which breeds vulnerable islamic people into believing that there is no integration into western society because of their faith. People can live in coexistence!!! We need to stop perpetuating culture vs culture because that is what terrorism is! Fear vs Fear! We need to end xenophobia, racism, and the notion that muslims are guilty of something because black people kill people. We need to close the cultural divide and respect our muslim neighbours and their right to practice their faith! We need to understand that our enemy is hiding in a crowd, that crowd is us, and we are not the enemy.
