Racism isnt over! Just because minorities make up a large percentage of the American population and have the same equal rights on paper doesnt mean that society treats them equally. Social capitalism, marginalizing, discrimination, and racial profiling are all issues that are still present today. The idea that we live in a purely meritocratic and egalitarian society are all just ideas that allow people who benefit from white privilege to continue believing that certain racial privileges dont exist! PS: Color-blindness, or saying you dont see race/skin color is just another form of racism and ignorance. Those who benefit from racial privileges are the ones who often arent aware of said racial privileges!
