Racism with guns, economics, the brutality of the American - TopicsExpress

Racism with guns, economics, the brutality of the American corporate state way of life is nothing more than violence and repression and it has nothing to do with power: it is brutality. See, WE are power! They deal in violence and repression, and WE are power. We are part of the natural world. We are power, but they have separated us from our spiritual connection to the earth - so people feel powerless. We look at the oppressor and we look at the enemy and because they have the most guns and the most lies and the most money, people start to feel powerless. Lets deal with reality. We are a natural part of the earth, we are power. No machine age can put these things of power in a prison, or make it submit. John Trudell is an acclaimed poet, national recording artist, actor and activist whose international following reflects the universal language of his words, work and message. Trudell (Santee Sioux) was a spokesperson for the Indian of All Tribes occupation of Alcatraz Island from 1969 to 1971. He then worked with the American Indian Movement (AIM), serving as Chairman of AIM from 1973 to 1979. In February of 1979, a fire of unknown origin killed Trudells wife, three children and mother-in-law. It was through this horrific tragedy that Trudell began to find his voice as an artist and poet. At no other time in the history of this planet has the earth been so much at risk: industrially accelerated global warming is poised to kill life on this earth down to biome level. Deep Green Resistance is advocating for a self-defense strategy: this strategy is called Decisive Ecological Warfare. We believe it could be possible for hypothetical, unknown, super-smart underground actionists to dismantle key nodes and bottlenecks of the industrial economy on a continental and global scale.
