Radford Quarry in Plymouth is the only site in the world where the horrid ground weaver spider is currently found. Now developers plan to build houses there which could lead to the extinction of this species. Devon Wildlife Trust opposed this development in our submission to Plymouth City Council about it - now our friends at the charity Buglife have launched a petition to try to save the site from development.
