Radiation day 16, 7 left to go! Today was rough. Not because - TopicsExpress

Radiation day 16, 7 left to go! Today was rough. Not because anything was particularly wrong, but because it started with stormy, dreary weather, and this did NOT help me wake up! I wont lie. I was so tired driving, during, and after her treatment. I wasnt sure how the day would unfold, but I wanted so much to just hibernate. I had an appointment for myself today, but afterwards, I did come home and crawl into bed. Me functioning wasnt going to continue without rest. Anyway, Ill stop rambling now. Today was another special day of seeing her friends. The nurse taking her blood pressure is Heather. Janet and I both adore her. She is the nurse weve known since this whole mess started... since the first time we heard of her brain tumor. Pretty sure shes been with Janet for nearly every procedure/scan since. Not EVERY one, but a great deal of them! Weve known several of the most amazing nurses since then as well , and are blessed they are also in our lives. Were so grateful to be surrounded by such compassion and love. In the third picture, you can see Whitney (from Child Life) just talking to Janet, and listening to whatever story was being told at that moment. This girl also has such a heart. She loves what she does, and it shows. Janet loves to see her each morning. The last picture is of our good friend Erin. She was our Pedal The Cause person. I say it like that because she did just about everything helping get that event to where it was. Her dedication to the cause is/was beautiful to watch. Her heart is precious! Shes always smiling, and shares such love and compassion with Janet. For those who are thinking of and passing for Janet and our family, you have our sincere gratitude!
